Holiday Warmth Deliveries

After a successful Giving Tuesday (we raised enough for 150 blankets!), we started our holiday distribution by making deliveries to New Moms, I Grow Chicago, Common Pantry, and Lead with Love.

We started our deliveries with 60 blankets to New Moms. They will be giving these blankets to the moms living in their residences there. We are hoping they all feel our "virtual hugs" we are sending them from afar.

Next, we delivered 50 blankets and 50 Comfort Packs to Common Pantry, Chicago's oldest food pantry. These comfort packs will be given out to children during their holiday gift distribution. They received over 800 requests for support from families for this holiday season. We're happy to help a portion of this with some extra warmth this season.

Next, we delivered 50 blankets and 50 Comfort Packs to I Grow Chicago. They will be delivering these along with other holiday gifts and food to the families they serve in the Englewood neighborhood in Chicago. We're hoping these blanket "hugs" and comfort packs help provide some extra warmth to all this holiday season.

Last, we delivered 100 blankets to Lead with Love. This organization that was created during the pandemic serves children living in the Auburn/Gresham neighborhood in Chicago. Lead with Love will be providing these blankets to children along with donated toys, making their holiday season brighter and warmer.
